Fawnia Dietrich - The Interview
To say that Fawnia Dietrich is one of the pole world’s most influential and inspirational women would be a radical understatement. Founder of one of the most important events in the pole calendar, Pole Expo, Fawnia is awesome is all senses of the word. An astute business woman, successful model and celebrated athlete, she’s been a key player in bringing pole dance not only to her home of Las Vegas, but to the world. And all of of this without any formal training whatsoever.
Champion Lesson: Squat Spin into Pirouette
In this lesson, Fawnia teaches the Squat Spin, which is also known as The Dip. This is a really nice beginners move that everyone can try out! Add the Pirouette to the end of the move and it starts to transition into a piece that you can incorporate into a fantastic routine. This is a great lesson for you to start to really get to know the pole, get comfortable and begin to embrace it.
The Flashdance up to Invert-V
This is a great move which is a really nice combination between power and spin. Remember to take your time with this one and as always, enjoy it!
Pole Choreography Part 2, Pole Lesson
Welcome back! This is section two of the ‘All of Me’ routine by the awesome Kristy Sellars. We left section one last month by jumping off the pole - and now we’re going to be getting straight back on it!
Recipe: Low Cal Peanut Miso Kelp Noodles
This meal is designed to help you stay completely on track in your healthy eating and fitness routines! For more great clean eats, go to Cassey’s blog, www.Blogilates.com
Striptease For Your Partner
Have you ever been at a nightclub dancing, grinding away to the beat of the music knowing your partner is close behind you watching? Whether you are a man, or woman, we are sure you enjoyed the feeling, knowing your partner is soaking it all up. Yet most people leave this unique energy within the walls of a club.
The Flying Move - Pole Lesson
This move from Amandine is a great workout for your upper body. It is both graceful and elegant and looks great incorporated into many choreographed pieces. Be sure to warm up your arm and shoulder muscles for this move, as these are the muscles you will be working out the most.
Pole Dance Supernova Jazzi Bell
Here we present interview and stories from Supernovas from around the world; exceptional women and men whose lives have been touched by pole dancing and who give back to the pole dance community in fun and interesting ways.
Pole Move Demos
These demonstration videos were contributed by our friends at PoleDanceDictionary.com as supporting material to complement Fawnia Dietrich’s exclusive lesson on the Squat Spit into Pirouette at the beginning of this issue. Have fun!
